Gîte Le Point de Vue

A stone’s throw away to absolute escape. After a day on the campsite, retreat to your own private palace 250m down the road.

This is a ‘sous sol’ house with the living area on the first floor and a garage and studio at ground floor.
The super high ceilings and huge windows provide a light and airy ambiance and a spectacular views of the Dordogne landscape from every room.

Living:

The ultra-modern eat-in kitchen has all the mod cons you would expect for a comfortable family-friendly stay.
There is a separate living/dining room with a smart TV, holiday library, games and toys.

Two Bedrooms:

You can sleep up to 5 people in the main house. A further 2 people can sleep in the downstairs studio (see below).
Master bedroom – queen sized bed with a Casper mattress (150cm x 190cm)
Second bedroom – twin single beds (90cm x 190cm).
It is possible to fit a travel cot or extra mattress in either of the bedrooms.

The family bathroom has an XXL rain-shower, double sink, laundry space and a separate WC.

Always included:

Pillows and blankets on all beds.
Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
Independent high-speed WIFI access.
A luxurious family-sized FATBOY hammock.
Lafuma deck chairs and coffee table.
Garden lounge set and outdoor family sized picnic tables.
Weber charcoal barbecue and chimney.
Washing lines at window level and in the garden to sun-dry your laundry.
On-site parking within a gated and fenced garden.
Keysafe box beside the front door for storing keys and self check-in.
In the inventory list you can see all items that you will find in the gîte.

Supplementary options:

Bed linen – square pillowcases, base sheets and duvet covers
Bath towels – large towel and hand towel per person
Baby hire – travel cot and highchair
Pets are permitted in their own beds – they must always be accompanied and kept on a lead.
End of stay housekeeping – depart feeling relaxed! Just do the dishes and empty the bins and our team will take care of the cleaning.

Studio:

The studio is for lodging extra guests (such as grandparents) or as a study/quiet workspace or as an extra bedroom for teenagers.
It has a kitchen, a living room, one bedroom with double bed (130cm x 190cm) and a bathroom with separate WC.
The studio is an optional extra and never separately rented out.

Even in the winter the house is bright, cheerful and toasty warm.
