When do bookings begin?

We start taking bookings in the second week of January for the upcoming season.

What are the office hours?

The reception is open from 9am – 12.30pm & 2.30pm – 6.30pm.
Please adhere to your check-in and check-out times.

Can I order fresh bread for breakfast?

Yes, pre-order your baguettes and croissants from the bar for next day delivery.

When is food served?

Dinner is available on the terrace 6pm – 9pm from our visiting food trucks serving a selection of local and world food.
The café serves coffee, tea, cold drinks, ice-creams and fries throughout the day.

Where are the shops?

Sainte Nathalène – 1km to the local bar & restaurant.
Proissans – 3km to a butcher, patisserie, restaurant and general conveniences.
Sarlat – 7km to all major supermarkets, restaurants, shops etc.
Carlux – 7km to mini-market, bakery, post office, bar/restaurant.

Is there WIFI at the campsite?

Yes, we have free wifi throughout the campsite.
For those who require a faster connection there are paid options available.

Tourist and eco taxes are indicated on your invoice.

Is the water safe for drinking?

Yes, all water on the site is drinkable.

What months are the swimming pools open?
-
The pools are open when the campsite is open. You can swim from 9.30am to 9pm. They are not heated.
There are no restrictions on wearing board shorts in the pool.
Inflatables are not allowed.

Are barbecues permitted on the campsite?

Yes, gas and charcoal barbecues are allowed on the campsite.
Electric barbecues and campfires directly on the grass are not permitted.
Barbecue hire and picnic tables may be hired in advance.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, we welcome vaccinated dogs.
Dogs must be kept on leads and always accompanied.
A valid vaccination certificate is compulsory by French law. We can help with UK guests who must meet the Pet Travel Scheme regulations.

Where are the nearest natural swimming spots?
-
Beautiful swimming spots are located on the banks of the Dordogne. Saint-Julien-de-Lampon (6km) and Vitrac (16km) both have beaches and picnic areas.
Grolegac Lake is around 16km away and has a sandy beach and playground. Tamnies lake is nearby and has an inflatable ‘It’s a Knockout’ style course for children 6yrs and over.

Where can I buy wine?

Special rates on Bordeaux and St Emilion are offered in cases of six when bought at the campsite.
Ophorus tours offer wine tours of the famous Bordeaux and St Emilion chateaux.
Wine can also be bought at Julien de Savignac, a Sarlat based cooperative.

What about quiet time & camping etiquette?

Between 11pm and 8am guests are asked to keep noise levels respectfully low.
Please avoid cutting through other people’s pitches.

Are visitors allowed?

Please register all guests at time of arrival. There is a charge of 5€ per visitor.
